Job Description :
The Accounts Payable Analyst requires a well-organized, detail-oriented person who is capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the enmarket Controller and work as an integral part of enmarket’s accounts payable department located in Savannah, Georgia. Candidates must be flexible, dependable, and possess excellent communication skills. Proficiency with data entry and working within multiple computer programs is a must.
Oversee A/P email for invoices to process, vendor inquires or issues.
Open/Stamp/Distribute daily mail from vendors to department directors for approval.
Review approved payments for proper general ledger account coding and allocation.
Verify/compute sales tax and accrue if needed.
Assist with processing a high volume of vendor invoices in multiple processing systems according to established procedures.
File paid invoices.
Prepare checks/remittance advices to mail.
Reconcile vendor statements and correspond with vendors regarding payment discrepancies, missed invoices, unapplied credits, duplicate payments, etc.
Assist with vendor set-up.
Work closely with other inter-departments and sister companies to resolve questions/issues related to accounts payable.
High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred.
1-2 years data entry experience
Strong verbal, written and business communication skills
Must have effective documentation, research, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and work within a team environment.
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with database software packages such as JD Edwards-E1, PDI-Enterprise, Concur a plus.
