Job Description :
** This position is onsite in Melbourne, FL. Relocation assistance will be provided**

POSITION SUMMARY
Business Development Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Business Development team and Sales Support personnel as well as build new business by locating, developing new business relationships.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

Provides daily management to the global Business Development (BD) team
Directly supports CCO in sales and business development reporting
Focal point for Compliance, KYC and Audit processes and policies for the Global Sales Organization reporting to CCO
Develop in-depth knowledge of business aviation market and future customer needs to help identify new business opportunities in order to drive Business Development Executives (BDEs) to build market position by locating, developing, defining, and nurturing business relationships.
Motivates, coaches and encourages BD team to ensure quotas are met for lead qualification, suspect and prospect conversion.
Recruits, trains and develops new team members in business development techniques and strategies.
Directly manages sales support personnel and sees to their ongoing growth and eventual deployment to other areas.
Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct BD efforts.
Assigns territories and sets quotas for BDE’s.
Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient business development operations.
Collaborates with leadership to develop BD targets, goals and strategies.
Ensures effective collaboration between BDEs and Regional Sales Directors to whom they are assigned
Be an internal and external ambassador for the company; a professional who is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to showcase the Embraer difference.
Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:

Bachelor’s degree required. Business Administration or equivalent preferred
Post-graduate qualifications in business preferred

Experience:

7+ years of business development or commercial experience in aviation marketing and selling aircraft or related products
General understanding of business acumen
Experience working successfully with a multi-national team across time-zones
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Goal oriented leadership and business driven mindset

Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements

Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
