Job Description :
DescriptionThe Call Center Representative is responsible for performing customer service activities including telephone, chat and e-mail support activities. Must provide exceptional customer service to all customers. As a Call Center Representative, you will greet customers; respond to inquiries; determine appropriate response or direction for the caller; promote various marketing campaigns; issue messages; and resolve problems within given authority. Accurately and efficiently serves customers by providing phone and email support for Online and Mobile Banking and associated products. Processes new debit card accounts, maintain and resolve debit card issues.
This also includes performing various operational background duties; processing account balance or transfer requests, changes of address and other such customer requests. There will also be routine daily tasks such as; review reports, prepare correspondence; and participate in special department projects.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following;

Utilize sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service.
Answers incoming phone calls and transfers calls promptly and efficiently using recommended greeting.
Provide a full range of customer service-oriented telephone, online chat and email support activities to customers and Bank personnel; greet customers professionally, respond to inquiries, determine appropriate response or direction for the caller; issue messages.
Makes sales or recommendations for products or services which may better suit customers’ needs.
Provide support to all areas of the department or where service or assistance is needed; demonstrate superior customer service with appropriate follow through with customers and employees.
Perform various customer support duties including; customer education of electronic services including online banking, mobile banking, and bill pay services; debit card transaction monitoring; processing account balance or transfer requests, stop payment orders, change of address and other such requests based upon proper customer identification, authorization and approval.
Resolve customer concerns, problems and discrepancies by clarifying issues within given authority; research and explore answers and alternative solutions; reconcile accounts; enter corrections; reverse customer fees or charges with the approval of Bank management; escalate unresolved problems.
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer agreements and file documents.
Educate others on new procedures, processes and products.
Maintain a proficient knowledge of all applicable banking rules and regulations. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Assists in special projects and tasks for the department as directed.
Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable State and Federal banking regulations.
Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulations that apply to position.

RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associate of Arts degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred or 6-12 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILLS *Must have strong telephone communication skills and etiquette. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Able to work independently. Must have working knowledge of mobile devices, computer operating systems and internet browsers. Knowledge of technical support issues related to Internet connectivity and PC troubleshooting experience a plus. Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point applications as well as research skills using Internet search tools. Organized, detail-oriented, and diligent work ethic. Good analytical skills.
