Job Description
This position will oversee and lead the training agenda for the plant. The trainer will be responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan for the hourly workforce. The ideal candidate will have the capability to work with multiple levels of plant leadership and be a confident public speaker and devoted educator. The trainer will be responsible for researching and selecting the best platform to deliver and utilize training material.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training employees on following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure good working knowledge of the job
Training of current employees to upgrade and improve their skills sets
Updating and revising SOP’s to meet the changes or upgrades in the job
Track and compile collected data
Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials
Maintain a database of all training materials
Instruct employee training and work with incoming incumbents to the operation
Review employee performance and learning

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or related field
Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a trainer, corporate training, manufacturing, or related position
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and instructional software
Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Excellent leadership, team building and management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
