Job Description :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receives, reviews, processes, and confirms all customer orders.
Provide support and responds to all customer inquiries regarding orders, questions, and complaints. Forward all necessary information to the appropriate staff to answer questions or rectify complaints.
May contribute to the preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, customer reports, and shipping reports. Including, but not limited to daily sales, weekly metrics, monthly forecasts, and gathering of analytical data.
Occasionally confirm existing pricing, as well as follow up on past due invoices.
Coordinate and prepare shipping documents
Maintains customer data information and files
Utilize the INFOR/LN system, Microsoft Word and Excel, and other PC software to develop, maintain, and generate effective reporting that relates to the job function.
Maintain strong communication as necessary with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide a wide range of internal customer support to include but not limited to; preparing reports, preparing of sample orders, data entry, copying documents, and retrieving files and/or records
Occasionally act as back up to the Customer Service Manager in their absence.

What skills do you bring to the role?

Four-year college degree preferred. Business/related field preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience accepted.
At least 6-8 years of customer service experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

Office experience such as but not limited to: writing and verbal communication skills, managing, and organizing skills and be able to multi-task with minimal direction and supervision, telephone and typing skills, and computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrated work ethics that operates with flexibility and approaches opportunities with an open mind, and orientation towards results, a solid business perspective and a sense of urgency and ownership of the solution.

Demonstrated high degree of interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of customers, company employees and management.
Must have a thorough understanding of the industry, including terminology, technology and business practices.
Knowledge of international trade requirements for export customers.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
