Job Description :
An aerospace/manufacturing client is looking for Entry Level Assemblers that will be responsible for assembly of electrical components, usage of hand power tools, hang product on the paint line, rotate station to station, perform qualify checks, and count and order parts when needed
LOCATION: Lincoln, IL 62656 POSITION: Entry Level Assemblers CONTRACT: 12 months or longer PAY: $16.90/hour SHIFTS:

2nd shift, M-F, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, OT required


The Assembler position will involve various numbers of employees working together in a group to produce load center or metering power management devices.
Successful employees will be knowledgeable and be able to perform all basic operations needed to produce the parts from start to finish.
This will include set up, assembly, and repairing when necessary.
Successful employees perform quality and other checks where necessary to produce good quality devices.
They will share in handling all materials used in the area and the movement of finished devices to designated areas.
It will be the group’s responsibility to count parts on a periodic basis and order parts as needed.


Assembly of electrical components

HS Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly during shift. Assistance is provided on lifting over 40 lbs. (i.e. two person lifts).
Stand, walk, bend for duration of shift (up to 12 hours)
Required PPE – Metatarsals that meet the ASTM-F2413-18. Metatarsals are required for this role. They must meet the ASTM-F2413-18 standards for metatarsal protection, be slip resistant, and mostly leather on their FIRST DAY. Without them we will not be able to allow them on to the shop floor to work.
When available – the company will loan shoe covers for the 1st two weeks upon hire.
This is a safety requirement for all the company’s employees, however, they allow contract employees a two week window of time from their start date to obtain the appropriate shoes/boots. (Metatarsal guards protect the top of the foot from heavy weights that may cause injuries by heavy items falling, dropping, or rolling onto the top of the foot.)

At a minimum, a 7-year background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.
