Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for growing our Lab Pack and T & D business within an assigned territory by working in conjunction with the Regional Sales and Operations personnel to develop and execute a sustainable business plan
Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
Ability to determine the adequacy of present levels of service and recommend service adjustments or corrective action during customer service calls, are required.
Act as a liaison between sales and operations, bridging the gap between how the job was sold and how the job should be executed
Perform weekly reviews of accounts receivable reports and make collection calls when necessary
Attend and actively participate in business development meetings.
Development of strategies to maximize pricing and profitability for lab pack business line; recording, in detail, all customer visits, opportunities and communication by documenting through Sales tracking tool (TBD)
Coping jobs and developing quotations in conjunction with TTR Direct customers when technical sales opportunities exist
Following through on all quotations until won or lost, and complete waste material profile sheets as needed.
Generating new business by aggressively prospecting within assigned territory/region developing work order information for jobs sold and clearly communicate job needs to the Operations Manager or Operations Management team
Ensuring current contracts and purchase orders are in place prior to job execution.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Business Management is preferred.
Two or more years of lab packing experience is required, and applicants with industry experience are strongly preferred.
A working knowledge of environmental statutes and regulations, business development, revenue enhancement, and market penetration; excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation and negotiating skills; and excellent customer service orientation are required. T
he selected candidate must be able to obtain their 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification within 30 days of hire
Must have the ability to wear a full-face respirator at all times; and have the ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
