Job Description :
ERP Analyst
Spartan Chemical Company, Inc., headquartered in Maumee, Ohio, is an international manufacturer of chemical specialty maintenance products that are marketed through a selective network of distributors, which in turn sell to institutional, industrial, and commercial accounts.
The ERP Analyst will analyze business processes and modify and configure Aptean Ross ERP software and related business functions. Responsibilities also include assessing business needs and formulating solutions, supporting day to day ERP operations for core business units, and working with external partners to achieve desired outcomes. This position is 100% onsite in Maumee, OH office.

Collaborate with business teams to gather and document business requirements, configuring the technical solution modules for all functional areas and business units across the organization.
Liaison with ERP vendor and external ERP consultants.
Assist in the implementation, documentation, and training of ERP software.
Assist in the development of business procedures and practices.
Perform day to day operations of the ERP system to support the business as needed.
No supervisory responsibilities.


Bachelor’s Degree, in a related area (Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing processes and procedures for the support and administration of an ERP solution (Aptean Ross ERP desired but not required).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft software development methodologies and best practices.
Experience in working with Version Control system integration.
Advanced knowledge of SQL, database, and infrastructure concepts for ERP deployment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexible during times of change, and deadline proximities.
Ability to excel as an independent contributor or as part of a larger implementation team.
Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques. A good grounding in development best practice skills, including requirements definition, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).


Understanding of the issues relevant to software modules such as A/R, A/P, G/L, Fixed Assets, HR, Payroll and Manufacturing
Project management
Establish and build client relationships
Experienced with ERP configurations and system documentation; AIM preferred
Effective time/goal management of competing priorities
Ability to participate in a rotating on call schedule
Analytical thinking
Attention to detail
