Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in adults has been labelled ‘A Hidden Annual Epidemic’ by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases. RSV is a widespread respiratory virus that is a leading cause of respiratory tract disease, hospitalization and death in older adults, adults with chronic heart or lung diseases and immunocompromised adults. RSV is responsible for 177,000 hospitalizations and 14,000 deaths annually in the US alone; with no vaccine currently available, this makes RSV one of the most significant remaining unmet medical needs in the space of infectious disease.

Role Description: These US HCP marketing manager roles for GSK’s RSV vaccine candidate will play a critical part in building the category for RSV Adult immunization, product positioning, field-based asset development and deployment to deliver a successful product launch.

Details: These roles are responsible for leading and executing key projects within the RSV Vaccine Marketing team. The primary responsibilities for these roles will encompass:

E-Sales Aide development, digital fragments and next-best-action strategy
Development of instructional how-to-use video and other field-based resources
Lead for Field Advisory Board
Point for Vaccine Inside Sales engagement strategy
Launch meeting and internal communications

Why you?
Basic Qualifications:

A BA/BS in Marketing or a related business degree
A minimum of 1-3 years of marketing experience
This position requires up to 10% domestic travel

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA is preferred
Candidates must have strong communication skills, be able to work in a team environment, influence others, and be customer/market oriented.
Ability to work within and lead a cross functional team is required
Project management experience with proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong business analytics, consumer insights development, understanding of core marketing levers and advertising experience.
Must possess demonstrated leadership and delivery of consistently strong results.
Prior P&L / Budget ownership is preferred
Digital/Marketing/Advertising marketing experience is preferred.
Experience implementing projects within pharma
