Experienced Automotive Aftermarket salesperson with an ability to coordinate the segment in the region.
Experience with navigating in an international matrix organization
Business Development project starting from zero. Hunting mind-set
Demonstrate success in introducing new products and driving high sales growth Experience in Automotive Independent aftermarket through B2B, B2C, Distributor channels.
Ability to think and act both strategically and hands on
Ability to travel 50%+ of his time (90% in AMER and 10% in EMEA & APAC)
Understanding of cultural diversity
Develop aftermarket segment in the region.
Be involved in all the Key Segment new projects
Support Key segment with Americas Regional Sales
Define pricing and margin conditions for allocated Region
Build market demand / specifying for end-user or up-stream customer
Benchmark products within the industry to validate market trends/requirements (VOC)
Promote innovation (VOC)
Roles & responsibilities
Responsible for the commercial part of the business, tracking and in case of deviations taking actions.
Become the unique single contact at the region assigned, supporting to the regional team when necessary.
Identify and contact Key Buyers in the segment.
Close communication with Regional Account Managers, common customer visits and mutual support
Market launches of new Oetiker products in cooperation with Marketing Application Management team in the Region.
Regularly report Segment updates to Head KAM
Experience & skills:
Market and technical knowledge/aptitude within the automotive aftermarket segment.
Ability to lead projects
Ability to handle strategic topics
Ability to effectively work with multiple cultures
Proficient in management processes including the use of sales pipelines
Proficient in the use of CRM systems
Proven ability to learn
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Ability to build lasting business relationships
Ability to influence others to achieve business objective
Ability to manage basic legal and general commercial terms as well as international business practices
Ability to work with the highest levels of integrity and compliance
More than 5 years experience in automotive aftermarket working with the IAM distributor network.
English and Spanish is a must. Portuguese is a plus
Business development mind-set
Effective team player and relationship builder while driving own areas of responsibility
Ability to travel 50%+ of time (90% in AMER and 10% in EMEA & APAC)
