As a LOB Risk Specialist within PNC’s Technology Risk organization, this is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii or Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.

Job Description

In this role, you will be within First Line of Defense, Technology Risk & Security Organization, and be a part of the Risk Management Services Team supporting Business Technology & Innovation (BTI) risk partners. You will be responsible for working with BTI technology risk partners to support their various Line Of Businesses from a technology risk perspective.

In this role, you will be responsible for monthly metric reporting on Automated Controls, Trigger Events, Exception Monitoring (Control, Risk Assessment Unit (RAU) and Driver), and Cost Center Mapping.

Candidates with a basic to moderate technology risk background along with relationship management skills will be successful in this role. Additional responsibilities include:
Working with BTI Performance Managers to support and lead initiatives with technology issues, matters, and Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) tasks
Ensuring necessary steps are being taken to close BTI issues on time and successfully
Performing Quarterly RAU Deep Dives for LOBs to help improve RCSAs and ensuring appropriate risks and controls are identified
Meeting with the BTI Performance Managers you support regularly and helping with ad-hoc projects including, but not limited to, policy exceptions, audits, and vulnerabilities
Participates in risk initiatives, business as usual activities, ad hoc requests, and identifies risk exposures
Assists with reporting and administrative activities as needed

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
