As part of ULearn, Comcast’s internal Learning & Development organization, you can be a part of developing employees and leaders to create exceptional customer experiences across video, mobile, internet, and entertainment. We are currently hiring for a Motion Graphics Designer to join the Learning Experience Design team in ULearn. In this role, you will partner within and across multiple teams to design and develop consumer-grade visual experiences that span a variety of mediums with the goal of increasing knowledge and capabilities in a variety of disciplines. You are an expert in motion graphics and thrive in an environment of collaboration and co-creation to deliver inspiring products.
Job Description
In this role you would be accountable for the motion graphics elements of our learning products to deliver an incredible learner experience. You will collaborate with peers across Learning Design to co-create product vision recommendations, iteratively build assets aligned to content area and test with learners for feedback. While your core strength is within motion graphics design, as a member of the team, you are accountable to engage with peers to ensure we deliver a best-in-class solution. You are exceptionally creative and thrive in the balance of art and technology to deliver highly engaging solutions for our learners.

Produce and create captivating motion graphics across mediums including, but not limited to: digital learning experiences, eLearning modules, video, eBooks, PowerPoint training presentations and microsites.

Adept at translating complex content into elegant, learner-centered stories through motion graphics and video

Collaborate with Instructional Designers and Product Owners to conceptualize design vision.

As a member of the creative team, uphold, expand on and advocate for our brand & collaborate with others on the continual development and maintenance of brand standards.

Stays current on industry trends and effectively incorporates them into the work

Regularly contribute ideas and demonstrates a desire to push creative to the next level, shows aptitude to learn new software to enhance individual versatility on assignments.

Collaborate and provide concise feedback and direction to other members of the design team

Understand the end-users needs to make informed design decisions.

Demonstrate a knowledge of user-centered design and UX principles and the UX project lifecycle.

Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts or related field

3-5 years working job history in motion graphics, video production or related field

Ability to lead concept development and production of motion graphic elements across all learning products in a range of formats and iterate based on feedback.

Must have a stunning visual portfolio. (We will only consider applicants with a portfolio)

Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite

Experience in video production and editing

Experience with 3-D, AR/VR development

Deep understanding and command of motion graphic design principles, visual hierarchy, and color theory

Able to clearly describe rationale behind design decisions and communicate with stakeholders

A growth mindset and seek to understand the latest visual design technologies and trends.

Experience designing media for Learning & Development, HR or Talent products

Knowledge of Instructional Design

A solid understanding of or experience working within agile/scrum development methodologies.

Understanding of the user-centered design process

Experience with 3-D, AR/VR development
