Title: Processing Clerk/Administrative Claims Assistant-Hybrid (38458)
Term: Contract to Hire
Salary: BOE – Starting at $19.00
Location: Remote/Hybrid (Cincinnati, OH)
May involve some office time – 2 days a week. Training period will involve more time in the office until comfortable with responsibilities.
Our client in Cincinnati, OH has a temporary-Hire need for a claims processor. Will be processing Worker’s Compensation and auto claims.
This position is responsible for the processing of financial transactions; providing data entry and ensuring the data integrity of the Claims department related to the WINS, PRO and iVOS systems that will ensure the proper servicing of accounts and in compliance with claims handling guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Timely distribution of new losses for all lines of business within the stated Intake standard of 3 hours in the WINS, CHSS and iVOS systems.
Assists with backup support in updating and initial entry of Vendors into the WINS and iVOS systems to ensure that proper payee information is recorded and accurate 1099 generation.
Central processing of expense payments for the branch claim offices within 48 hours of receipt.
Provides mail/file room assistance as time and volume permits.
Assist with Third Party Administrator (TPA) Loss Fund Accounting including entry of financial data from TPA accounts as well as balancing of financial data and reimbursement of TPA Loss Fund Accounts that will ensure accurate financial records on our claims and timely reimbursement of our TPA’s.
Assists with data entry of Corvel financial data into claims and reimbursement of requested payments in a timely and accurate manner that will ensure compliance with claims handling guidelines.
Conducts proper archival of all financial data and copies including checks and invoices for auditing purposes.
Conducts check printing, matching and mailing of checks processed through the Power 2 Pay system that will ensure claimants and vendors are paid promptly and accurately and in receipt of required documentation.
Provides support to Self-Insured/Auto Physical Damage Clients through timely and accurate billing, payments, reporting and Bank Reconciliation.
Conducts proper distribution and archiving of on and off-site claim files.
Provides shared coverage of the CSC Customer Service Line during business hours in a professional, accurate and timely manner to appropriately and conclusively resolve client questions and requests.
Assist with transferring of payments within the WINS, PRO and iVOS systems to ensure that payments are allocated to the proper file, feature and payment type and utilize the proper claim coding. This will contribute to accurate claim financials and precise reporting.
Works special projects as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
