POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality & Compliance Specialist aims to ensure that the company’s products and services maintain a level of quality and compliance that meets or exceeds those standards set forth by clients, industry and regulatory bodies. The Specialist assists the Compliance and Quality Team with the activities required to meet the expectations of the sections of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), applicable Privacy laws and state consumer reporting laws, as well as ensuring compliance of internal processes that are aimed at guaranteeing accuracy in the services provided to clients. This role will receive training in and will be familiar with all areas of operations within Info Cubic, to understand all services offered to clients, and works closely with personnel.
Assists the Sr. Compliance & Quality Manager with monitoring and advising how the Quality Management System and the Regulatory Compliance System are performing and helps to publish data and reports regarding company performance against set metrics and standards. Where appropriate, the Specialist advises on changes to the overall implementation and provides training, tools, techniques and to achieve quality regulatory demands. The position reports directly to the Sr. Compliance & Quality Manager. This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists with Info Cubic’s development, implementation, and on-going compliance with all applicable sections of the FCRA, state consumer-reporting laws, DPPA and state DPPA laws
Helps process and inspects the handling of Adverse Action Letters, Applicant Disputes, Expungements, Report Requests, Applicant Data Deletion Requests and Full File Request in accordance with FCRA
Conducts compliance level trainings within Info Cubic for both domestic and international process handling and inspection
Assists with providing timely training and updates to employees on regulation changes to ensure compliance and reviews/maintains client facing communications along with resource documents on the website
Understand complexities of all screening products and compliance risks within the industry
Helps with internal and external audit programs to ensures our company’s compliance with the certifying bodies
Assists with Info Cubic’s Corrective Action, Control of Documentation and Internal Audit processes
Supports training, change control, investigations, CAPAs, and reviews client notifications
Helps to maintain training for the company in conjunction with management and/or human resources
Reviews change control processes and investigations with management, as necessary
Partners with the Research Department to ensure the vendor management program and procurement policies are compliant with regulatory expectations
Helps to continually improve customer service satisfaction throughout the company and maintains focus on quality improvements
Assisting with documenting and compiling quantitative data to show completed searches and accuracy percentages for all operational positions and staff and external contractors
Assists with the tracking and maintenance of all records related to quality control, to include internal and external productivity and accuracy rating
Offers training recommendations to operational managers for operational staff accuracy deficiencies and helps maintain the training records for staff with support from Human Resource Generalist
Helps to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and the PBSA BSAAP Standards
Will assist our marketing communications with development of content for articles, blogs, and within the Compliance Corner on Info Cubic website, etc.
Will escalate all known risks to Sr. Compliance & Quality Manager and Department Managers for support in action plan
Will professionally represent Info Cubic staff, clients and products in all business engagements with and may be required to perform additional tasks not outlined in this Job Description
May be required to attend PBSA Compliance webinars and the annual PBSA Conference to represent Info Cubic)
Other duties as assigned
Minimal travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience in operations or process improvement preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills required
Previous compliance training and auditing experience is required
Robust analytical and organizational skills are required
Must have superior writing and communication skills
A passion for accuracy, trending and process improvement
Must have or be able to pass FCRA Certifications: FCRA Basic & Advanced
Salesforce or CRM experience highly desired
SharePoint experience required
Must have the ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Must be able to remain objective, work collaboratively and keep information confidential

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $58,000.00 per year
