Status:
· Full-Time (Exempt – Administrative)/At-Will
Purpose:
· The recruiter will provide recruitment, training, staffing, and other human resource services / support for the company’s ongoing recruitment and training initiatives.
Job Duties:
· Talent Acquisition
o Receive and process recruiting requests from hiring managers
o Partner with co-workers and hiring managers to develop, maintain, and optimize job descriptions
o Post openings to applicant tracking system
o Utilize applicant tracking system to review and disposition candidates for assigned requisitions
o I perform phone screens to identify qualified new hire candidates that fit the current needs of operations teams
o Submit recommended candidates and screening notes to hiring managers
o Schedule candidates and applicable hiring managers for interviews
o Extend management approved job offers to selected candidates in accordance with department policy and practice
o Schedule new hires for new hire orientation
· Event Participation
o Facilitate candidate processing sessions
o Attend local career fairs, trade school open houses, industry shows, and other recruitment centric events to identify qualified personnel for recruitment
· All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Company management
Required Skills:
· Ability to manage stressful situations and difficult candidates, hiring managers, and partners professionally
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to prioritize assignments

Ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written form
Ability to execute recruitment management initiatives and independently manage third party search firms when necessary

· Ability to proficiently utilize MS Office products inclusive of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook and other MS Office products

Possess an understanding of the full life-cycle recruitment process
Possess an understanding of how to map and source resumes from unconventional recruitment resources
Possess an understanding of how to complete social media data mining and internet candidate search practices

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to be physically seated for long periods of time in a standard issue desk chair
· Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week including weekend assignments when required
· Ability to visually tolerate prolonged exposure to computer screens, mobile device (phones, tablets, etc.) screens
· Ability to read documents and materials in hard and soft copy form (either naturally or with corrective lenses)
· Ability to walk, step, climb stairs to access or otherwise move from one location to another which normally involves walking within and around locations and when required to climb and descend stairs to access areas as required
· Ability to visually see well (either naturally or with corrective lenses)
· Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, and sit for long periods of time
· Ability to lift up to and including 50 lb. objects as required
· Ability to carry up to and including 25 lb. objects as required
· Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all-weather conditions as required
Experience:
· Two (2) or more years of direct recruiting experience
Preferred Experience:
· Two (2) or more years of experience recruiting employees to fill positions in the construction industry
Education:
· BA or BS in Business, Human Resources or a related field of study; however, candidates with professional experience will be considered in leu of education if their professional experience demonstrates the ability to perform the tasks listed in the position’s job responsibilities section
Travel:
· Ability to travel up to 25% required
