Hours of operations are dependent upon the time zones of training needs. There may be times when a team member may need to work outside of typical business hours to provide training across time zones and with our international partners
Responsible for developing and providing operational training to onshore and offshore team members across the TES PRCM organization. Team member will work closely with operations teams, process & training excellence teams, and others to identify the current training needs of the business to ensure overall success of client metrics.
Responsible for conducting introductory training courses for internal staff, mid-level management and offshore team. Training will primarily occur virtually with the possibility for in-person training as needed.
Provide new hire training to assist employees in acclimating to the medical billing profession and Change Healthcare
Provide training on multiple medical billing computer systems to new hires, existing employees, management, and clients
Coordinate all aspects of training activities with clients, management, and employees
Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities for program effectiveness as well as develop solutions to less-effective programs
Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials, including the method, media, and documentation to be presented
Responsible for various reporting requirements, including utilizing the company LMS for training and testing monitoring
Monitor the proficiency of staff once training has been completed, retrain as needed and update training process with lessons learned
Participate in client and system implementations, learning the systems and processes to develop and provide training
Monitor and evaluate inventory identified by offshore as not workable to develop action plans including providing pathway support, re-training, etc.
Provide Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functional training to staff and mid-level management
Coordinate and serve as supplemental support to the training and pathway teams to ensure business priorities are aligned
Serve as point of contact for operational training for the specialty and function of assignment
Develop and document all workflow processes and procedures, coordinate with a pathway team as necessary
Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen
College degree in adult learning or similar field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years experience in a formal training capacity
1+ year experience in revenue cycle management
Basic knowledge of adult learning theory
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate well with an audience / customer base of all people at all levels
Technology: MS Office, Webex
Critical thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches
Judgment and decision making
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design
Knowledge of adult learning theory and putting into practice various methods and mediums to effectively train users of all experience levels
Experience in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Visio
Experience with multiple functions within RCM a plus
Experience with multiple billing platforms (GE Centricity, Epic, Cerner, Imagine, MMIS, MDIV) a plus
Ability to multi-task and remain flexible to accept new and changing priorities
Possess excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to research and review processes, and plan and effectively manage time
Ability to learn new computer systems in a face paced environment and provide training to new users
