Job Description :

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to individuals and groups which require specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. The Registered Nurse functions within the full scope of nursing practice as noted by the Board of Nursing of their designated state for which they are practicing in addition to compliance with any of the hospitals accrediting bodies.

Job Requirements
Provides clinical support and recommendations to the office manager/coordinator and all clinical staff in the medical office setting. Responsible for ensuring that quality patient care is provided in respect to policies and procedures, established nursing practice and federal and state regulations.

Assists with implementation of all state and federally required regulatory standards throughout the physician practices (EPA, OSHA, CLIA, Radiation, Office Safety, HIPAA, Departments of Health and CMS.).
Attends internal and external meetings related to clinical operations of the organization and/or special projects as assigned. Assists the Director, Clinical Operations with projects designed to support and achieve corporate clinical goals and objectives.
Responsible for special projects as assigned (quality improvement projects, electronic medical record, clinical practice analysis, patient satisfaction etc.) including researching, analyzing data and formulating results/summaries and implementing recommendations.
Provide support and leadership to PPG practices in the areas of clinical operations, quality, safety and risk by exhibiting a thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and legal responsibilities of clinical office practices.
Assist practice managers/coordinators with clinical issues and works toward clinical operation efficiencies in the practice location.
Works with practice managers/coordinators to provide clinical continuing education, including applicable in-services.
Communicates and maintains effective interpersonal relationships with physicians, patients, and other health care team members. Facilitates team effort in the delivery of quality care and customer satisfaction.
Develop and evaluate clinical office standards through adherence of policies, procedures and processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
License: Possess and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio and/or Michigan.


Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel or similar software

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and direct both clinical and clerical staff.

Strong organizational skills.

Able to balance needs of the offices and the initiatives of the organization.

Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or clerical setting Certification: Possess and maintain current CPR certification


Medical office environment; exposure to high volume of clinical patients.
Must be able to occasionally lift or carry office equipment and supplies
