Job Description :

Koenig is currently searching for a Service Writer working out of the Dealership’s Anna, OH location..


Fully embrace and utilize our Koenig Operating System, as well as, John Deere Dealer Path, CDK IntelliDealer, LeanKit, etc., to drive the desired value expected from our manufacturers and customers.
Preform the required standard work within our process “work order to invoice” to maximize the productivity of our service team (efficiency and effectiveness) while achieving quality and delivery standards.
Respond to incoming customer requests for service, gather data and quote accordingly, obtain customer approval, and schedule the work with the customer. (for quotes declined offer alternate solutions)
Coordinate with our Service Leadership to assign the appropriate technician for the required work.
Coordinate with the Parts Department to identify parts status, if not available when? Schedule work accordingly.
Communicate with the service manager and/or technician (based on the walk around) progress, if required adjustments have been identified, develop new quote and seek customer approval before moving forward.
Review work orders submitted by the technicians for completeness, once correct, close and invoice.
Ensure all parts that need to be returned have been received by the parts department before invoicing.
Process warranty related work orders as directed by the service manager.
Identify potential job codes and assist with their creation within IntelliDealer.
As learning paths and the required training is identified and approved, incorporate the associated class time into our technician’s schedule.
Attend training sessions at our dealership and off-site locations as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Associates Degree in Ag or Business related field preferred.
Comparable role experience in a Dealership environment.
Strong time management and inter-personal skills.
Dedication to proactive and thorough customer communications.
Basic knowledge of product line and mechanical systems being repaired.
Ability to use our operating systems, vendor computer resources, and basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook tasks.
Commitment to maintain standards and address issues in a timely, professional manner.
Understanding of financial reporting principles relative to service operations.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
