*About the position: *The Social Media Specialist oversees social media, video, and other creative content. They collaborate to develop strategies that grow the AMO brand, while reaching Marketing Team goals (KPIs). This position works alongside the Senior Marketing Director to plan, direct, and coordinate social and video efforts. They develop and lead campaigns and support the marketing team with content and visual storytelling content. They liaison and collaborate with all departments to support marketing efforts.While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Florida, or Alabama only.Essential Functions:

Lead B2B and B2C social media strategy, including post content, giveaways, IG/FB Lives, virtual panels, and other events with the goal of raising brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, driving leads, and growing the number of AMO followers

Develop annual social media and video strategies including creating integrated social and video campaigns/initiatives; guide market growth, segmentation, targeting, and overall social and video strategies

Contribute to marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers; liaise with Marketing and Sales Teams to create and drive marketing plans and initiatives

Supports Marketing Team in providing organic and paid social media campaign ideas, including ideal target audiences, set-up, testing, best ways to report and optimize the campaign and increase users and applicants

Coordinate social, video, and other creative storytelling projects from inception to completion; collaborate across AMO departments and partner organizations to create content that is educational and inspirational

Launch TikTok profile for AMOpportunities complete with creative content and video strategy

Coordinate with key stakeholders when launching new social campaigns, giveaways, or events, ensuring all parties are informed and have all necessary details

Continue to develop market personas and the AMO brand voice, learning about our audiences and developing content that meets unique audience inquiries and demands

Create and develop marketing Influencers and strategies

Oversee content to make sure collateral, assets, creative, and verbiage is on brand; ensure quality and accuracy of all content

Analyze market data to determine campaign effectiveness and adjust for future campaigns; provide innovative ideas for content based on visitor engagement and inquiries

Monitors relevant social discussions regarding AMO, competitors and/or industry through social media listening tools

Monitor campaign performance, tracking and optimizing core KPIs

Create communication and visual storytelling strategies for new products, audiences, events, and program promotions

Respond to relevant news topics that align with brand messaging in a timely manner (I.e., political news, world news, etc.)

Collaborate with medical schools, medical societies/chapters, and other companies that align with AMOpportunities for collaborative social events

*Education and Experience: *

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent

Three (3) or more years of experience with content marketing and integrated marketing solutions

Three (3) or more years of experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram

One (1) or more years of experience executing content with social media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn

Familiarity with CRMs such as HubSpot and project management software such as Trello


Familiarity with TikTok

Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML

Brand engagement/growth experience

Understanding of healthcare and medical education terminology a plus

Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and tactics and their application in a professional services organization a plus

Experience with Google Analytics a plus
