Responsible for partnering with the rest of the leadership team to ensure the restaurant operates in a way that creates a superior guest and employee experience while growing sales and increasing profitability.
Result Area Job Duties
Seafood Selects Great Team Members · Maintain consistent staffing levels of well qualified hosts and bartenders by using the crew selection process. · Utilizes TAS for all hires Trains and Develops Team members · Manage crew performance with clear feedback recognition, reviews, coaching, teaching and discipline Coaches and Directs Team members · Conducts pre/post shift communication · Ensures high standards are consistently upheld in all areas and provides clear feedback to employees
Leads Guest Service and Relations · Maintains high visibility in the dining room to ensure service is prompt and personable at all touch points and is aware of dining room ambience (music, lighting, blinds, etc.). · Ensures compliance with responsible service of alcohol · Sets clear operational goals for the service team. Identify opportunities or roadblocks to delivering an excellent dining experience; establishes service improvement Ensures Quality Food Operation · Manages food operations so that food is prepared to recipe and served at the proper temperature and appearance · Ensures the adherence to HACCP and food safety guidelines in the restaurant · Ensure the restaurant’s appearance and cleanliness meets our guest’ expectations by upholding the highest standards including TQ and sanitation level · Takes pride in ensuring every food item and every beverage is prepared and served perfectly. Leads Guest Service and Relations Ensures Quality Food Operation · Oversees food production and line activities to ensure that top-quality food is prepared and served and meets standards for proper temperature, portioning, and presentation of all foods · Ensures the adherence to HACCP and food safety guidelines in the restaurant · Ensure the restaurant’s appearance and cleanliness meets our guest’ expectations by upholding the highest standards including TQ, sanitation levels and equipment/facilities maintenance. · Ensures the safety and sanitation of the interior and exterior of the restaurant · Take pride in providing expertly prepared food and beverages
People Selects Great Team Members · Maintain consistent staffing levels of well qualified servers and service assistants by using the approved selection process. · Always strives to source the best talent. o Utilizes TAS effectively and leverages the assessment tool o Interviews using targeted, effective questions Trains and Develops Team members · Manage team member performance with clear feedback, recognition, coaching, teaching and discipline. · Identifies and develops team members for future leadership roles · Plans and organizes quality team meetings Coaches and Directs Team members · Conducts pre/post shift communication · Ensures high standards are consistently upheld in all areas and provides clear feedback to employees · Follows up on directives/goals; holds people accountable and praises/coaches as required · Conducts effective performance appraisals in addition to ongoing feedback · · Ensures that team members adhere to set uniform standards, according to policies and procedures.
Great Results Drives Sales Proactively · Leads the guest satisfaction experience resulting in sales and guest count growth. Monitors through GSS. · Teaches and encourages suggestive selling · Conducts monthly meetings with team members with sales performance opportunities · Delivers monthly plan to General Manager for sales improvement Drives Profitability · Administers wage management strategy and ensures compliance with starting wage. · Responsible for maintaining inventory levels On FOH service items · Manages food and beverage costs. · Seeks to monitor cost controls through table audits, ring it and bring it procedures and correct portioning of soup, salad, bread and desserts. · Identifies cost improvement opportunities through analysis of the P&L and other reports; sets and follows through on meaningful action plans .
· Manages the I-9 process/e-verify (where applicable) and ensures legal compliance
· Conducts file audit process and orientation paperwork for all Service new hires.
· Maintains Files for all Service Team.
· Scrupulously follows all labor laws
· Conducts oneself professionally at all times (appearance, communication, interpersonal relationships)
· Holds self and team accountable for attitude, behavior, results and Red Lobster standards/systems.
· Is a Subject Matter Expert on all FOH related functions and materials.
· Applies situational leadership in managing his/her team
· Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
