Are you ready to be part of the transformation?
As an Agile Scrum Master in Vanguard’s Client Experience program, you’ll work with a team that is changing the way IT is done at Vanguard. Client Experience lab teams are comprised of a scrum master, product/journey owner, developers, UX strategists, designers, and data analysts who work together to own and solve a business problem. Our teams are encouraged to push the boundaries of the status quo and operate with enhanced speed and agility to deliver meaningful customer experiences in a rapid build-measure-learn manner.

People vs. process!
We’re looking for servant leaders who are passionate about the power of empiricism to propel the team toward learning through experimentation and observation. You should also be passionate about Agile practices which enable teams to achieve and maintain a high level of performance. We’re also looking for someone who will be able to quickly build relationships to navigate the organization and clear the team’s impediments. With a focus on value delivery vs. project delivery, your deep understanding of Agile frameworks and practices will be called upon as you coach and mentor your team so that they improve sprint over sprint. You’ll be part of a growing community of scrum masters and coaches who regularly share tips, tricks, and articles to help you grow in your craft.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Computer Science or Engineering experience preferred.
Scrum Master Certification strongly preferred.

Future of Work
During the pandemic, we transitioned to a work from home model for the majority of our crew and we continue to interview, hire, and on-board future crew remotely.
