Job Description :
Telemetry Registered Nurses positions available with ARC in the Lexington, KY area.
In this role RN’s will analyze medical equipment measurements, study patient history, administer specialized treatment to critical need patients, and monitor and update medical records. This is a demanding and fast paced environment so effective multi-tasking, attention to detail, and teamwork are vital to ensure patient treatment plan success. Shift: 12hr NOC
Pay: Up to 2,160
Contract:13 weeks

Study patient medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Continuously check patients heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
Monitor, interpret and record data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
Administer medication and perform treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.
Accurately update ward charts, patient files, and medical records.
Guide and instruct Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans.
Collaborate with healthcare specialists and reporting changes and deteriorating conditions.
Explaining tests results and procedures to patients and their families, as well as answering questions.
Advising patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s science in nursing degree (BSN).
Registered Nurse license.
Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN).
2-5 years of experience as a telemetry nurse in a similar field of specialization.
Extensive knowledge in interpreting data from specialized electronics and medical equipment.
Proficiency in recordkeeping and patient management systems.
Advanced proficiency in administering medication and performing treatment interventions.
Ability to consult with healthcare specialists and instruct telemetry unit staff.
In-depth knowledge of best practices in healthcare and medical recordkeeping.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to advise and support patients and their families.
